WASTE & RECYCLING SERVICE DELAYS - UPDATE THURSDAY 23RD MARCH

 

REMONDIS is advising Central Coast residents that waste and recycling services will be delayed today due to Industrial Action.

Residents are asked to leave all bins and booked bulk kerbside material on the kerb as normal until collection can be undertaken.

Drivers will be working throughout the weekend and we are endeavouring to have this weeks services completed by the end of Sunday. Kerbsides are being collected today.

REMONDIS has again been notified by the TWU of an indefinite stoppage of work by garbage truck drivers to take place next week on Monday 27th March, Tuesday 28th March and Wednesday 29th March, 2017.

REMONDIS is advising Central Coast residents that waste and recycling services will be delayed for the remainder of the week and in to next week if scheduled stop work meetings go ahead.

Residents are asked to leave all bins and booked bulk kerbside material on the kerb as normal until collection can be undertaken.

Once drivers return to work all rubbish & recyclables will be collected as quickly as possible including over the weekend.

Monday 6th March 2017: Delays Update

Please be advised that delays are continuing with Waste & Recycling Services due to Industrial Action.

All delayed services from Friday will be completed this morning - please make sure your bins are left at the kerbside.

We anticipate all of Mondays red lid bins will get serviced today, however some recycling and garden bin services may not be emptied until tomorrow.

We appreciate your patience during this time.


Friday 3rd March 2017: Waste & Recycling Service Delays

Please be advised that delays will be continuing today with Waste & Recycling Services due to Industrial Action.

We have a small number of trucks operating today - they are focussing on finishing Thursdays services and starting some Friday services.

Please ensure your bins and booked bulk kerbside collections are left at the kerbside until they have been emptied/removed. Drivers will be working on Saturday, so please leave your bins out over the weekend.

MONDAY 1ST MARCH 2017 - SERVICE DELAYS UPDATE: 

Delays are continuing with services as we catch up on bins and bulk kerbside services that have not been emptied from Tuesday the 28th of February.

We anticipate that all delayed collections from Tuesday will be completed today and that a large proportion of Wednesdays services started.

Residents are asked to leave all bins and booked bulk kerbside material on the kerb as normal until collection can be undertaken.


TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2017 - SERVICE DELAYS UPDATE: 

Waste and recycling services have resumed on the Central Coast, as drivers return to work following Industrial Action instigated by the Transport Workers Union.

Delays are continuing with services as we catch up on bins and bulk kerbside services that have not been emptied from Monday the 27th of February.

We anticipate that all delayed collections from Monday will be completed today and Tuesdays services started.

Residents are asked to leave all bins and booked bulk kerbside material on the kerb as normal until collection can be undertaken.

 


MONDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2017 - SERVICE DELAYS EXPTECTED: REMONDIS is advising Central Coast residents that waste and recycling services may be affected today because of industrial action instigated by the union representing local Collection Vehicle Drivers. Residents are asked to leave all bins and booked bulk kerbside material on the kerb as normal until collection can be undertaken. All rubbish & recyclables will be collected as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience during this time.


WEDNESDAY 15TH FEBRUARY 2017 5PM - SERVICE DELAYS UPDATE:
Waste and recycling services have resumed on the Central Coast, as drivers return to work following Industrial Action instigated by the Transport Workers Union.

As at close of business today:

> All red lidded general waste bin services are up to date; except for a small section in Lake Munmorah to be done tomorrow.

> All yellow lid recycling bin services are up to date; except for a small selection of bins at Niagara Park and Mt Elliot.

> We still have green lid garden vegetation bins to service in Hamlyn Terrace, Woongarah, Warnervale, Blue Haven and Tascott.

We anticipate that all delayed collections will be completed tomorrow. Residents are asked to leave all bins and booked bulk kerbside material on the kerb as normal until collection can be undertaken.

TUESDAY 14TH FEBRUARY 2017 - SERVICE DELAYS UPDATE:
